Bognor Regis Secondary School

LJJ Limited was responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical services to the secondary school based on Bognor Regis Campus.

The building consists of four floors totalling 14,400 square metres with an independent Energy Centre which housed the biomass and gas boilers, sprinkler tanks, switchgear and pumps plus an educational display screen for the pupils to learn and understand how the introduction renewable resources assist with the reduction of C02 emissions.

The school was ventilated using a mixed mode system of natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation the classrooms with natural ventilation utilised the soffit for night time cooling and were luminated with raft type light fittings with integral acoustic baffles.
