Last week Ian Weedall our Pre-Construction Director attended a site visit to Hartlepool College where he met with current students wishing to gain apprenticeships within the MEP (Building Service Industry).

The visit was a great success for everyone and whilst there, Ian managed to catch up with an ex colleague from LJJ Stockton, Alison Wellford who is now a lecturer at the college.

Ian has selected a few students from the visit that he will be contacting via Alison in the New Year to offer them work experience at LJJ Stockton in the hope that this may lead to an offer of an apprenticeship position for one of the students.

As a business LJJ really promotes the apprenticeship scheme and currently have 6 apprentices working nationwide for the business.
